Lifestyle Client Package


What I expect from you as a client

  • I expect payment before I start to design your diet and training program. Once I receive payment I will start on designing your diet plan and exercise program. When complete I email it to you and we can set up your start date.
  • When available (for local clients) I will book your start date to include a 1 hr personal training session in the gym to show you how to do your exercises properly (Subsequent personal training sessions need to be booked 2 weeks and have a fee associated), and we will also do your initial body composition assessment/measurements (Subsequent body composition assessments need to be booked 2 weeks have a fee associated)
  • I expect that you are at the point in your life that you are ready to make a major lifestyle change and would like some professional expertise to help you get there. If you are honestly not at this point, then I would rather that you wait and contact me again when you are ready. This will save a spot for someone who IS ready to make this change.
  • I assume that you are following the diet and training program that I outline for you 100%. So if you are not reaching your fitness goals, I will likely make dietary or exercise program changes along the way. Just signing up for a personal trainer is not going to automatically mean that you are going to reach your goals. You are going to have to do the work and be committed to the program to see your results, and I will help you every step of the way.
  • I expect you to ask ME (not other clients of mine or local gym members) if you have any questions about the gym, diet etc
  • I expect you to report your morning weight every Wed and Sat am. If you are not reporting in to me at least 2x/week, I will assume that you are no longer following the diet/training program. I will give you a deadline to report, and if I don’t hear from you then you will be discontinued and your spot will be made available for another client
  • Along with these reports I expect that you are also reporting valuable information such as appetite, cravings, mood, sleep patterns, energy levels, comments on your commitment to the diet and training program, muscle soreness, any anticipated dates that you will be away from the gym etc
  • I expect you to weigh and measure your food initially. You are encouraged to prepare your meals ahead of time and pack your meals as outlined, as this will make it so much easier for you to be committed to this program. It is optional if you want to write it down in a food journal. This may be a useful tool to go back and review if/when we need to make dietary changes
  • You might ask if it is alright if you eat out and have a normal social life on this plan. The answer is “YES”. Your diet plan will give you options to make healthy choices that can be found in most restaurants.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME AS YOUR PERSONAL TRAINIER

  • You can expect an individually designed diet and training program that will help you reach your fitness goals and will fit into your lifestyle/routine
  • You can expect that I will respond to your emails within 24 hours (unless I am away, at which point I will advise you ahead of time)
  • You can expect a professional diet and training program that is based on sound physiological principles and training methods developed by an educated/certified Exercise Physiologist.
  • If you see me training in the gym, please feel free to ask me any brief training questions that you may have. I would rather that you ask me than perform an exercise incorrectly or get advise from “the blind leading the blind” and then you end up getting hurt etc. If your question will require more of my attention, then please book a personal training session so I can spend that time devoted to helping you
  • Personal training is not my regular job, rather it is a sideline passion of mine. I have a regular 9-5 full time job. I do ALL my communication via emails.
  • Web site profiling is optional, and your consent is required. Some of my clients choose to share their progress with the rest of the world displaying before and after pictures of their results along with a brief testimonial.
  • Following a 3 months Lifestyle Client Package


    For any clients that have completed an initial 3 months package, I offer the following:
    • A new exercise program
    • A 1 hr personal training session
    • A follow up body composition assessment
    • Does not include any email/progressions/monitoring of diet or exercise – you go the next 3 months on your own and then check in again when you are ready for a new 3 month plan and body composition assessment
