My interest in Bodybuilding started to grow a few years ago at the time when I started my career and adjusting to married life. In the beginning it was hitting the Gym when time permitted or the spirit was moving me for more exercise as my job was mostly sitting at a desk. Shortly after our 2nd Son (Glenn) was born my Wife and I came to the realization that our Son needed more care (above the normal), and felt that the good Lord looked down on our Family/Home and said here is where I would like to have Glenn live. We as a family did most things together Holidays/Vacations you name it he was with us even to his wheelchair. Early on as our Son gradually grew it became apparent that if we continued to look after him at home that we my Wife and I would have to be able to lift him when needed from floor to bed - wheelchair and etc. We knew that all to soon that he could be taller than my Wife so my interest in Bodybuilding took on new meaning from pure recreational to one of a purposeful nature squeezed into a sked of work and other chores that needed to be done. This was carried up to 1994 when I had the opportunity to take early Retirement and be able to look after Glenn full time as my wife was still employed and with the help of Social Services was able to hit the Gym more. Through this time frame 1994 to 2002 the unspoken word (but the feeling was there) that since Glenn would never be able to go the Gym, the learning process began Nutrition Supps and Exercise to transform this body and knew that I needed to be one step ahead of him as he was indirectly pushing me to excel and that message is still there ( Dad you can do it). Then in 2002 the Lord took him home at the age of 27 and left us with a Big Hole to fill and it took me many months to understand why and then a few months ago my interest in the Gym returned (which I enjoy) and now look forward to a Comp in his Memory.
